Happy first day of Spring… we made it.
There were moments I was not sure this season would ever change. So many cold, dark days. Loneliness and fear tried to settle in. The bare trees and brown grass felt like a reflection of what was happening inside, everything looked lifeless.
It is easy to get lost in winter.
You know the season will change someday… but when? And will you still be standing when it does?
Winter is not just on the calendar—it can live in your heart. Some days, survival feels like the greatest victory. I pray, I seek God, I believe… but deep down I still wonder—will the darkness lift? Will new life really come?
Then I realized—I have a choice.
I can stay in a winter mindset… or I can start looking for signs of spring.
A few weeks ago, I noticed something small—flowers pushing up through frozen ground. Just a glimpse. A quiet reminder that change was already happening beneath the surface.
And when I shifted my gaze… everything changed.
That glimpse was not just about the earth—it was a reminder for my soul. God ordained the seasons, and He knows the exact moment your season will change too.
Those tiny green shoots? They preach hope. They whisper, “Not dead. Not over. Not finished.”
So today, as the calendar turns to new life, let it remind you—spring is coming in your situation too.
Keep your eyes lifted. Keep your faith steady. Look for the light…
Or as I like to call it—the SON shine.
